The NFL Schedule rolls into Week 13 as teams fight to stay alive in the playoff picture as we kick off December. Sunday’s action is full force with all but four teams in action for sports handicapper and fans to make their sports picks for. One contest that should have a ton of action will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta as the Falcons welcome the first place Minnesota Vikings to town.
These two teams are both in position to make a trip to the NFC Playoffs as the Vikings have a strong hold on the NFC North after an impressive Week 12 win over the Detroit Lions. Now that success has them sitting at 9-2 overall on the season. On the other side after an up and down start to the season the Falcons have things rolling after picking up three straight wins to push their record to 7-4 overall while bringing them to within a game in the NFC South.
For these two teams their success has come from strong defensive play at times to big time play from their respective quarterbacks. Vikings quarterback Case Keenum has impressed many this season as he has completed 66.1 of hiss passes for 2,476 yards to go along with 14 touchdowns to just five interceptions. Meanwhile Matt Ryan continues to put together big time fantasy numbers as he has completed 67.6 of his passes for 2,884 yards to go along with 16 touchdown passes.
With that said let’s take a look at the Keys to The Game for both the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals for their matchup during Week 5 of the 2017 NFL schedule.
Minnesota Vikings – Be Aggressive
The biggest key to this matchup on Sunday for the Vikings will come from their defense as they look to shut down one of the best passers in the NFL. If the Vikings can stay aggressive on the defensive side of the ball while forcing the Falcons to turn to their running game they could turn the momentum to them while taking out the home crowd. On the offensive side of the ball the Vikings can’t be afraid to take the big shot down field when they have chances against a Falcons team that can put a ton of points on the scoreboard.
Atlanta Falcons – Play Fast
The Falcons have one big advantage in this contest and that is the fact they have the better overall offense. An offense that has many sports handicappers turning to them to not only win this contest but make a deep run in the NFL Playoffs. In order to win this game, they need to play fast from the opening kickoff while looking to allow Julio Jones to make big plays as much as possible.
